How to do Gazette Notification ?
Gazette Notification – To get the gazette made, you have to prepare a file. Which includes a copy of the advertisement in the newspaper for the name change, affidavit, CD which will work as a soft copy, 2 passport size photos, any identity proof ID and fee receipt. All these have to be submitted together in a file in the Gazette Notification Office of India. Which can be done by post / career or by going personally.
After the file goes to the gazette office, it is verified. After verification, the name change is approved. After that, the name change is published in the gazette in the Gazette Publication Department. This process takes 30 to 35 days.
When the name change is published in the gazette notification, you can submit it to UIDAI along with a copy of your Aadhar card. After this, UIDAI will update your new name in the Aadhar card and issue a new Aadhar card.
